Thai food is fast growing
in popularity with consumers
in the United States. Thai
appetizers and entrees are
finding their way onto menus
of many casual-dining restaurant
chains that operate across
the U.S. Enthusiasts of Thai
food often choose Thailand’s
most famous brew, Singha,
a crisp, refreshing and distinctively
flavored beer, to complement
the spicy cuisine.
Singha is making a concerted
marketing push to expand the
Singha brand in U.S. large
grocery retail chains. As
part of its channel marketing
efforts to increase brand
awareness, Singha sponsors
events that highlight Asian
cuisine and Thai culture,
yet appeal to a broad consumer
base that is growing increasingly
adventurous in food, beer,
and entertainment preferences.
“We are delighted with
this opportunity to sponsor
a world-class tennis tournament
and festival that will promote
Thai athletes and introduce
many people to the exciting
tastes of Thai cuisine, and
of course, Singha beer,”
said Mario Ylanan, vice president
of Singha North America. “As
Thailand’s most famous
beer, Singha is dedicated
to expanding our brand throughout
the United States, and continuing
to be the favorite Thai beer
here, as well.”
