La Sante's Lychee Wine is made from the white meat
of high-grade Lychee grown in the cold highlands of Thailand's
beautiful and scenic Chiang Rai province. It is wonderfully
aromatic with brilliant scents of plump lychee flesh. Our
Lychee Wine is semi dry and easy to drink with a touch of
sweetness on the medium finish.
Lychees are grown on Lychee trees with dense, evergreen leaves.
The fruit is about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in size, oval to round
in shape, and has a bumpy red skin. This fruit is only grown
in sub-tropical climates, and originates in South China. Once
you peel off the skin, the crisp juicy flesh of a lychee fruit
is white or pinkish, translucent and glossy like the consistency
of a grape. Its taste is sweet and wonderfully fresh. Lychees
are high in antioxidants, Vitamin C, and mineral Potassium. |
